April Favorites!
Hey guys, I know I've been pretty absent lately on my blog but I'm going to be making some life update posts soon to fill you in on everything that's been going on!
On another note, it's crazy to think it's already May and we're almost half way through 2013. I thought New Years was yesterday?! But any who, on to what I've been wearing on my face throughout the April since I feel like I give the time flies speech every month ;)

C.O. Bigelow Lip Shines!
The other day during one of my many Bath & Body Works excursions I realized the one thing I've never bothered to try out from them have been the lip products! I'm not a huge fan of squeeze type glosses which is the majority of what they have (though there are lip balms, ones in tins, and ones with wands) but I bit the bullet and bought some ones I thought would be yummy.

DUPE: MAC Hey, Sailor! Blush in Fleet Fast
If you guys remember last May MAC released their 2012 summer collection called Hey, Sailor! I scrambled to get my hands on the blush called Fleet Fast because at the time I thought it was pretty unique. Clearly that was not the case since we're here in a dupe post!

Raspberry Obsession!
It's no surprise that I'm slightly (okay, heavily) addicted to Bath & Body Works!
Recently their True Blue Spa line came out with a new Raspberry collection that consist of three different products: Raspberry Yogurt Shower Smoothie, Raspberry Mojito Cream Gel, and Raspberry Margarita Body Scrub.
I went a little crazy when I smelled it and ended up purchasing everything (plus a little more as you can tell)! The scent is so sugary, it almost reminds me of fruity pebbles with that raspberry tang to it. It also has really good lasting power to it when you layer all the products, usually with the True Blue Spa items I find myself having to reapply all day in order to keep the scent but this one has given me no problems!

Pretty & Practical Storage: Mascara, Eyeliner, and Other Eye Products
My last post about Pretty & Practical Storage was all about lipsticks, and today's tip is going to help you deal with all those random pencil type products that seem to clutter up your vanity and can roll away if you're not careful!

My Revlon Lip Product Collection: Super Lustrous Matte Lipsticks
Being the little makeup hoarder that I am, I've noticed that Revlon seems to dominate my lip products!
I thought it'd be helpful to start "collection" posts where I swatch through the ones that I own since I probably have more than is recommended ;)

Holiday Bargains
One of the best part of the holidays that many people forget about are the sales that happen afterwards!
Recently on a little trip to Christopher & Banks I came across two of the cutest pair of earrings in the 50% off bin.
They were originally $12.95 each but I only paid $5.00 a pair, which is an absolute steal!
I can still wear these earrings now that it's winter because they aren't too Christmas related and I'm very impressed with the quality, most earrings I buy make my ears hurt a bit from the metal but so far no issues with these.
So keep your eyes peeled when you're out shopping because you never know what little deals you're going to come across!

Around the World in 80 Eyeshadows: Weekly Round-Up 1/21/13
Question of the Week:
What are your favorite lip balms to keep your lips protected during winter?
Emily's answer: Any type of all purpose salve is what I stick do during the cold months, I even did a post last month about my obsession with them (I've even accumulated more since then)! It's just the easiest way to get my lips to stock cracking and if any other areas on my skin are feeling dry I can pop it on there too!

Around the World in 80 Eyeshadows: Weekly Round-Up 1/14/13
Question of the Week:
What are your top three beauty or fashion items you want to buy on the market right now?
Emily's answer: As much as I LOVE to make wishlists, my goal in 2013 is to really enjoy the products that are already in my collection and resist the urge to buy more ;). In terms of fashion I'm not really one who's into trends (or clothes in general), I'm pretty simple!

Two Tricky Lipsticks!
If you've been involved in the online beauty community for a while you know there's always certain products/shades that are often talked about and impossible to find! Two little gems that happen to fall under that category are Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipsticks in Black Cherry and Cherries in The Snow (funny they both happen to have cherry related names).
