About a week ago e.l.f. decided to have one of their 50% off their Studio line sales and I took full advantage of it! Don't worry if you missed the sale this time e.l.f. is runs different ones all the time so you'll always get a good deal.
I'm on a little bit of a secret "no-buy" for makeup right now (I say secret because it's not a set rule for me, I'm just trying to really work my stash and get some use out of what I have for a while) but I allowed myself some new brushes since I always get use out of them!
Onto the stuff I picked up:
I was actually really pleased with how high quality the Stipple Brush is, I was expecting it to be a bit flimsy from how it looked online but it's actually perfect for applying cream products on the face and blending them out nicely.
The Flawless Concealer Brush is also a bit different than it looks, you might think it's more of just a brush to swipe some powder on under the eyes but it's actually quite dense so it can also be used to work liquid concealers into the under-eye area!
As you can see I went a little crazy with stocking up on plain old flat shader brushes! Those are one item that you really cannot have enough of. I was expecting these to be thinner and less fluffy, it makes me a little nervous that it will add some fall out when I use them with shimmery colors.
The Mineral Powder Brush was a bit of a disappointment, I wanted to use it more as a rounded blush brush but it's actually quite small. I'll have to experiment with it for contouring and possibly highlighting!
Are there any e.l.f. brushes that are essentials for you guys?

I've never tried elf brushes because I've always been worried about the quality but I might give them a go now x
ReplyDeleteBasically I love their studio line. Theyre blush and stippling brushes are my favorites!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried anything from elf before but I could do with investing in a few more brushed and might as well try elf for the price! Lovely review :) x
