Where to Buy: eyeslipsface.com, $3.00

The e.l.f. Studio Blush in Tickled Pink ($3.00 for .168 oz.) is a neutral medium pink blush that looks like it has a hint of shimmer in the pan but turns up matte on the skin. I've had this particular color in my collection for a while and its surprising how much I dislike it considering how well the other e.l.f. Studio Blushes perform!

Texture:

The e.l.f. Studio Blush in Tickled Pink feels very hard when you run your finger across it, its pressed very tightly compared to most blushes that are soft. Whatever you manage to get on your brush (and it won't be much because of the hard texture) comes off very chalky

Pigmentation:

The pigmentation in Tickled Pink is pretty much non-existent unless you scrape your finger in the product, even then whatever you get on your finger doesn't show up at all unless its layers 7-8 times (and let's not kid ourselves its not like I'm the tannest person). For the swatch in the photo below I lost track of how many times I swiped my finger in Tickled Pink after the 10th try, and you can still see that its super sheer after that. With a brush its terrible since its less pressure than your finger, I gave up trying to get any sort of color to show up on my cheeks!

Staying Power:

Even if I've done 5 applications, the color that is barely on my cheeks completely disappears within an hour.

Packaging:

I love e.l.f. Studio packaging, its sleek and simple. The blushes in particular come in compacts similar to NARS but they have a small window where you can see the blush (except it doesn't really help since most of the shades look similar) and have a plastic finish instead of rubber. It can be a little tricky to open sometimes because it snaps shut so securely. The packaging doesn't show dirt/fingerprints and does an awesome job of absorbing shock if you drop the product so there's a lesser chance of it breaking! These blushes store well since they're small and can be stacked on top of one another. I'm not sure why e.l.f. bothers putting a sticker on the back with the shade name on it, its literally the smallest font you can imagine. Like I would need a magnifying glass to see that, even my Nikon couldn't focus on the text in macro mode!

Final Verdict:

I'm a huge fan of e.l.f. Studio Blushes, but Tickled Pink is a shade you should skip. Honestly pick any other color they offer and you'll be very happy with it, this one is a dud. I don't get any color payoff, the texture is hard and chalky, its just not a good product. With all the other medium neutral pink shades in the world, you're better off picking one of them!
